Course Overview:
The Inner Child Group Facilitator Training Program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, and personal insight necessary to facilitate Inner Child groups effectively. Through a combination of theoretical learning, experiential exercises, and practical application, participants will develop the competencies required to create a safe and supportive space for individuals to explore and heal and develop a trust relationship with their inner child.
Course Duration:
16-week remote training program coupled with two mandatory one-day intensive in-person workshops.
Course Objectives:
By the end of the training program, participants will be able to:
- Understand the concept of the inner child and its significance in personal development and healing.
- Apply therapeutic principles and trauma-informed approaches to facilitate Inner Child groups.
- Demonstrate effective group facilitation skills, including active listening, empathy, and conflict resolution.
- Design and implement group processes and activities that promote healing and self-discovery.
- Uphold ethical guidelines and boundaries in working with individuals in Inner Child group settings.
- Engage in ongoing supervision, self-reflection, and professional development as an Inner Child Facilitator.
